Krista's Message of Thanks

Hello friends and family,

As Sunday approaches, we would like to take a moment to thank all of your for signing Chuck Heubusch's online guestbook last year while we were in the midst of our fight. Despite the horrible experience of life with cancer and the subsequent devastating loss, we know how important it is to remember how lucky we are with the people that have touched our lives. The support that we have received and continue to receive is truly incredible. For that we give thanks!

It's hard to believe that it has been a year since Dad died. On one hand, it's a relief to know that we have survived a year. One the other hand, it's hard to not feel a bit guilty that our lives have moved on and we have had another year's worth of experiences but without Dad. All part of life, right? I have faith that Dad knows what's happening with us. Well, hopefully, he doesn't know everything. :)

If you weren't able to make it to DC for the funeral, we did have it recorded. Please let me know if you'd like a copy. We had a beautiful October day to honor Dad.

With a difficult anniversary upon us, we are trying to stay focused on the positives. Thank you for your positive influence and support in our lives.
