Our trip began with a long flight from RDU Airport to Seattle with a stop in Pheonix on Friday. After spending almost the entire night before packing, we over slept and were afraid we'd miss our plane. We made it to the airport in time for the flight, only to discover that it was delayed!

Upon our arrival in Seattle, we checked in to the Warwick Hotel where we met our friends Stacey and Kyle, who live in Portland.

The four of us toured Pike Place Market, went on a tour of the city's underground past in Pioneer Square, and took the elevator to the top of the Space Needle. Steve amused himself (and annoyed everone else) by counting every Starbucks store he saw in Seattle (thirteen, including the one in the airport).

On Sunday we parted company with Stacey and Kyle and boarded the Norwegian Pearl.
