The ship returned to Seattle on Sunday the 20th. As we disembarked for the final time, we hoped to be accosted by a man in a salmon suit (part of the cruise photography staff) with whom we would have been obliged to take a picture, but, alas, we were disappointed. Since our flight home wasn't until the next day in the afternoon, we had another day in Seattle. So, we checked back into the same room at the Warwick Hotel, then we wandered around Pike Place Market and sipped coffee a the original Starbucks store.

On Monday afternoon we boarded our flight back to RDU with a stop in Chicago. Our flight arrived at 1:30 AM on the morning of Tuesday the 22nd. We were both glad we had the foresight to take that tuesday off of work, since we were exhausted by our travels
