We spend most of the day on the 19th packing our bags in anticipation of our return trip. We were invited to a champagne and cake party as part of the Honeymoon Package Aunt Carrie and Uncle Norm suprised us with. At Victoria, Capital of British Columbia and our final port of call, we arrived in the early evening. This was one of two stops where we needed to show our passports to enter the country (the other being on our return to Seattle). As we disembarked, we were accosted by a man in an orca suit (part of the cruise photography staff) with whom we were obliged to take a picture. This orca had legs and fur, which we understand is a rarity in its natural habitat.

We only had about an hour to tour the famous Butchart Gardens. This explains the many pictures taken in haste and low light conditions which added a delightful fuzzy blurring effect to the scene. Paula raced to pick up some flower seeds at the gift shop, then we ran back to our bus and barely made it in time. The next stop was to the Church and State Winery where we tasted a selection of their wines paired with chocolate truffles (tasty).
