| Mary Ann,
Krista,Keith,Steve
& Paula, our
love and prayers
are surrounding
you; only wish we
had known of
Chuck\'s illness so
we could have lent
a hand and support.
With time, Chuck\'s
love will surround
you with happy
memories and the
sorrow will be less
at his absence. God
has gained another
blossom in his
kingdom and a
longing in our
hearts for his
presence, so until
we meet again may
God hold him dearly
always in the Palm
of His Hands until
we are all joined
at the biggest of
all Mananitas. God
bless and know we
will continue to
keep you in our
thoughts and
prayers. Our
deepest of
sympathies, Paul
and Grace McGraw,
Virginia Beach, VA.

| Dear Mary Ann &
Family. Carole and
I were so saddened
by the news of
Chuck\'s passing. I
found it in the
\"In
Memorium\"
section of MOAA
Magazine today.
When I saw Chuck\'s
name there, I
immediately called
the Irwin\'s to
confirm VA as your
location - they
were saddened to
learn of Chuck\'s
valiant battle with
cancer as well. We
can\'t tell you
enough how saddened
we are with this
news. I remember
well how angry
Chuck was with you
and I, when we
danced many years
ago, while you were
having some bad
back pains. Do you
remember - you
wound up in bed for
several days as a
result. Our IG days
were great times
back at
Richards-Gebaur. We
made wonderful
friendships there,
such as you and
Chuck. I feel badly
that we lost touch
with one another as
the years passed
and I wish we
hadn\'t. Carole\'s
and my love and
prayers go with you
and your family.
We\'ll try to call
you in a few days -
I got your phone
number from Bill
and Linda Irwin.

fighter he was and
how many lives he
touched. Please
take comfort

| Dear Mary Ann,
Krista and
Steve,
We were shocked and
saddened to hear
about Chuck\'s
death. We have
wonderful memories
of time spent
together in
England. We can
still hear his
laugh and celebrate
Chuck\'s honor and
integrity. May the
love of family and
friends be a source
of strength and
comfort. Add our
thoughts and
prayers to the many
that are enfolding
you during this
painful and
difficult time.
God Bless.
Love,
Karen and Alan |

It was my pleasure
to have known Chuck
while he was at Phu
Cat AB in 1966. I
was saddened to
hear of his
passing, but in
retrospect I have
to celebrate in the
fact of what he was
able to accomplish
in his life. With
many of the
concepts he started
and pushed in Safe
Side, USAF Security
Forces today are
operating safer and
accomplishing a
better job.
Although his mortal
sole is now at
rest, his legacy
lives with these
men and women who
go in harms way
daily and do so
more safely because
of what Chuck
accomplished.
Although he is gone
physically, he is
still protecting
and saving the
lives of the
soldiers he so
admired. I was
honored to have
known Chuck.
