| Col. Heubusch and I
first met in about
August of 1966 at
Schofield Barracks,
Hawaii. He was
fresh out of the
Army Ranger School
where he finished
and graduated with
the Ranger tab. At
the time I was the
SgtMaj of the
1041st Security
Police Squadron
(Test). He was
assigned as the
unit Operations
Officer and earned
the respect of
every single man in
the unit. After the
Test was completed
at Phu Cat. RVN
"Chuck"
returned to normal
Air Force duties
and I followed his
rapid rise through
the ranks to his
promotion to
Colonel. Well
deserved also. He
also completed a
tour with the RAF
Regiment in the UK
for which he is
well remembered by
their staff. Over
the years he and I
became fast friends
and to me he became
the ideal model of
what an Air Force
officer should be.
His image, his
integrity, his
professionalism and
his friendship will
always be with me
for the remainder
of my waning years.
God's speed,
Chuck.

| Chuck and I served
together at HQ
Third Air Force at
RAF Mildenhall from
1985 to 1987. The
Colonel was always
willing to keep a
new Lieutenant from
screwing up, and I
appreciated it. My
thoughts and
prayers are with
you and your
family.

| I am deeply
saddened to hear
this week of
Chuck's "Birth
Into Eternal
Life". I
didn't know he was
ill, so it was
quite a shock,
however, now that I
know I am sending
tons of prayers
your way, Mary Ann,
and to the entire
family. My heart
goes out to all of
you. If I can be
of any help in any
way, please call me
at xxx-xxx-xxxx*.
Our two Chuck's are
now united in
heaven, but how we
miss them!

| Mary Ann. We are
so glad we got to
see Chuck at Via's
the other night,
and we were so in
hopes that the
treatment would
work. Please know
you both were in
our prayers.
Guiliana called me
yesterday to tell
me as she was so
upset.
Please let us know
if we can be of any
help or if you just
need to talk. I
know you have lots
of friends and
family so I am sure
you are being
coddled in this
time of need.
We have marked our
calendar, but
hopefully we will
see you before
then. Lots of
prayers, Sincerely,
John and Wanda

Wed Aug 30, 2006 21:50:21 Frank Capone USA
| Dear Mary-Ann and
Family,
I first met Chuck
in 1964 when he
reported to
Richards-Gebaur AFB
as a brand new Air
Police Officer.
Early on I was
impressed by the
professionalism of
this bright and
energetic officer.
Qualities that
followed him
throughout his Air
Force career and
allowed him to
develop into a
respected leader in
the Security Police
Career field. In
Viewing the
"Check in on
Chuck" website
it is obvious that
he was also very
successful and much
loved, as a husband
and father.
Please accept my
heartfelt sympathy
and know that I
hold Chuck and each
of you in my
prayer.

| Dear Mary-Ann and
Family,
We were so sorry to
hear about Chuck.
We were behind the
scenes praying for
all of you during
his illness and are
here now continuing
to pray you through
this very tough
time.

| Dear Mary Ann,
We are very shocked
and saddened to
hear that Chuck has
passed away. Please
accept our sincere
condolences. We
enjoyed speaking to
you both in July
during our Florida
holiday. He seemed
so upbeat and
positive - as did
you. We have fond
memories of both
'Invasions' and
your visit to the
UK in 2002.
I have already
passed the sad news
to the RAF Regiment
exchange officers.
He always held the
USAFSP/RAF Regiment
exchange officer
programme in high
regard, so much so
that we all felt
that he must have
been part of that
programme from its
inception in 1966.
He will be missed
by us all and
remembered with
great affection.
You and your family
are in our
thoughts.
With love,
Maureen and Richard |

| To the Heubusch
Family,
Thanks for sharing
Col Heubusch with
all of the Security
Police family.
Like Gail Gilbert,
I was also a Capt
during his reign.
I appreciated his
leadership. God
Bless, Susan
