Dear Maryanne,
Your message on our answering machine make me cry. While there will not be the four of us going to wine dinners at Raffaginos, there will be the three of us and the space in our hearts for an empty chair.

Bill and I were with Ryan and Jack last weekend and they remembered Chuck when we were at Mildenhall---and the \"lock-out\&qu ot; situation. I hope you remember and are smiling.
My love always,
Ginny Colwell

Mary-Ann and Family:

I was saddened to learn of Chuck\'s passing! A true professional and staunch defender of this country, he will be missed by all who knew him! My prayers are with you and your family.

While our physical time on this earth is limited, your separation from Chuck will be brief. He has just gone ahead to locate that prime piece of real estate and new home in God\'s kingdom.

Dear Mary Ann and family. We learned of your great loss this am via Pat Neuland's e-mail. We are saddened for all of you. Although we had only met Chuch once, at Audra's wedding, we were able to see immediately what a great and spirited person he was. You and he were fortunate to have shared so much love and so many incredible experiences during your 38 years together. We will take our time reading your website. Mike will particularly enjoy all your Latin quotations...Chuck' s spiritiual depth clearly comes through in these uplifting thoughts from people of great stature. Our own thougths and prayers will be with you and your wonderful family. Marilyn and Mike

Mary Ann and family--
Marjie and I are sadened to hear that Chuck has passed away. We will miss seeing Chuck in church at the 9:00 service. I'm very grateful that I had a chance to reminise a bit with Chuck when I happend to see him and you at Ft Meyer Pass and ID while he was battling cancer. Almost 40 years ago, I showed up at Ft Campbell, Ky as a new second lieutenant just out of Ranger school. Chuck was assigned to the 82nd CSPW at the time and I was at the school. We talked often and ate many good meals at your house. I watched the moon landing from your living room the month before I left for VietNam with the 823 CSPS. Chuck was a professional military officer and excellent role model for me. We'll miss him. Take care--John & Marjie
